Senior Staff Accountant
Responsible for tax returns ranging from individuals, multiple business entities, estate and trust, and non-profit entities. Assist on audits, reviews, and compilations, including planning, assessing risk, and follow through of all stages. Supervise and assist with training of staff accountants. This position is responsible for contact with clients and government agencies, including drafting letters.
2+ years experience in tax and/or audits or 5+ years accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and analysis. Need to have either a CPA certification or be on track to obtain one.
Staff Accountant
Entry-level public accounting position that is responsible for preparing individual and business entities tax returns. Assist on audits, reviews, and compilations, including preparation of work papers, analysis, and formation of financial statements. Position is responsible for client follow-up questions and routine issues.
Applicant needs a solid educational background with a desire to become a Certified Public Accountant. Accounting and tax experience a plus but not necessary.
Intern
The firm is looking for college students majoring in accounting or finance, who are a year or two away from sitting for the CPA exam. The interns will work alongside experienced CPAs on both tax and audit assignments. These positions have the potential to become Staff Accountant positions. As such, we want individuals that are on track to sit for the CPA exam and aspire to become CPAs
